The basis and background are the sound sculptures Kaleidophonic Dog, Tap Dancer, Washboard Band, Rosebud Annunciator, Totem Tones, and Text Tones. They resound during a stroll through the Cologne exhibition of 1984, supplemented by short dialogues on the works conducted by Stephan von Huene and Klaus Schöning. Audible between them are fragments of text drawn from Meister Eckhart’s sermons, the story of a Zen master, and Heinrich von Kleist’s “On the Marionette Theater.”
